Ideational support: If you have constructive criticism for us or would like to volunteer yourself, please get in touch with us by email! Our membership fee is voluntary - so everyone can give as much as they can spare. Because all employees work on a voluntary basis, the amount is invested entirely in the projects.
Financial support: At SLAC for Eden, just €3.30 is enough to buy and plant a tropical tree and protect it for decades! And a donation of €30 is enough to enable one household to cooperate in the production of essential oils and thus lift them out of poverty in the long term.

Once again, we would like to point out that all SLAC members work on a voluntary basis. We can therefore guarantee that 100% of your donation is invested in the projects and makes the greatest possible difference.
Of course, we also issue donation receipts.
What do we need the money for?
Uganda is one of the poorest countries in the world with an annual GDP per capita of 800 euros. Smallholder farmers, like those we work with in the reforestation project, are traditionally among the poorest of the poor with an average income of less than 40 euros per month. In comparison, the average German income is around 100 times higher. Due to this disparity in wealth, it makes sense to look for financial aid outside Uganda so as not to burden the locals more than absolutely necessary.
We are currently using all our donations for SLAC for Eden. We are therefore investing in climate protection through reforestation; in poverty reduction through the production of essential oils; and in emancipation through workshops and trainings for women. In concrete terms, this means, for example, seedlings, beehives, the construction of bridges and the production facility for the oils, and salaries for workers.
